Captain America: The Winter Soldier Official Trailers (2014) - Chris Evans Movie HD

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Captain America, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the sequel to 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and the ninth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell, Robert Redford and Samuel L. Jackson. In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America and the Black Widow join forces to stop a covert enemy that is hiding in Washington, D.C.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who wrote Captain America: The First Avenger, stated before that film's release that they were working on a sequel, and in June 2012, Anthony and Joe Russo entered negotiations to direct. The following month, casting of the supporting roles began with the additions of Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. Principal photography commenced in April 2013 in Los Angeles, California before moving to Washington, D.C. and Cleveland, Ohio. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released on April 4, 2014, in 2D and 3D.

Premise
Two years after the events of The Avengers, Steve Rogers resides peacefully in Washington, D.C., struggling to adapt to contemporary society. However, after a S.H.I.E.L.D. compatriot is assailed, Steve becomes entangled in a mystery that may endanger the globe. Together with Natasha Romanoff, Captain America attempts to uncover the growing machination while fending off hired hit men. When the entire scheme is discovered, Captain America and the Black Widow must recruit the aid of the Falcon and soon encounter an unanticipated and powerful adversary — the Winter Soldier.

Cast
The cast of Captain America: The Winter Soldier at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con International. The cast aside from Kevin Feige and The Russos: VanCamp, Mackie, Smulders, Jackson, Johansson, Evans, Grillo, Stan.

Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America:

A World War II veteran who was enhanced to the peak of human physicality by an experimental serum, frozen in suspended animation, and is now struggling to adjust to the modern world. Producer Kevin Feige said that Rogers reluctantly remains with S.H.I.E.L.D. after the events of The Avengers "because he has nowhere else to go... Things were black and white back then [in World War II], and now it’s hard to know who the bad guys are. We wanted to play on that a little with Cap being uncomfortable with the way S.H.I.E.L.D., and in particular Nick Fury, operates." Describing his character's adjustment to the modern world, Evans said, "It’s not so much about his shock with [technology]... It’s more about the societal differences. He’s gone from the ’40s to today; he comes from a world where people were a little more trusting, the threats not as deep. Now, it’s harder to tell who’s right and wrong. Actions you take to protect people from threats could compromise liberties and privacy. That’s tough for Steve to swallow."

Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow:

A highly trained spy working for S.H.I.E.L.D., who partners with Rogers. Screenwriter Christopher Markus said that Black Widow was a "great contrast" to Captain America, describing her as "incredibly modern, not very reverent, and just very straightforward whereas Steve is, you know a man from the 40s. He’s not a boy scout, but he is reserved and has a moral center, whereas her moral center moves." When asked about Natasha's relationship with Steve, Johansson said, "Their working relationship becomes a more intimate friendship. They have some unexpected similarities – they both have their guard up, they have trust issues, and they've also both been working for 'the man' for their entire career. Through this unexpected friendship that forms, they both start to question what they want."

Sebastian Stan as James "Bucky" Barnes / Winter Soldier:

Steve Rogers' best friend, who is turned into a brainwashed assassin. Feige stated that Bucky's role in the film will adhere closely to Ed Brubaker's Winter Soldier storyline in the comics. About the character, Feige said, "Winter Soldier has been methodically, almost robotically, following orders for 70 years." To prepare for the role, Stan endured five months of physical training and did historical research stating, "I dove into the whole Cold War thing. I looked at the KGB. I looked at all kinds of spy movies, and all kinds of documentaries about that time, and what it was about. I grabbed anything from that time period. Anything about brainwashing."

Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon:

A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with the ability to fly via a pair of mechanical wings. About the role, Mackie said "[Wilson is] a really smart guy who went through major military training and becomes a tactical leader." Remarking, "He's the first African-American superhero. It makes me feel all the work I've done has been paying off. I have a son, nephews and nieces, and I love the idea that they can dress up as the Falcon on Halloween. They now have someone they can idolize. That's a huge honor for me." Mackie also stated that Marvel did not let him read a script before signing on, and that he spent five months doing two-a-day workouts and eating an 11,000 calorie per day diet to get into shape for the role. Commenting on Rogers' relationship with Wilson, Evans said, "Meeting Mackie’s character, he used to serve, now he works at the VA counseling guys who come home with PTSD — they connect on that level. I think they’re both wounded warriors who don’t bleed on other people. Cap has no one to bleed on. I think Mackie knows how to handle people like that. … Sometimes when things are bad, trusting a stranger is the way to go."

Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill:

A high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who works closely with Nick Fury.

Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow:

A S.H.I.E.L.D. operative.

Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter / Agent 13:

A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and Steve Rogers' neighbor, who initially goes by the name of "Kate". VanCamp says her character takes an "interesting turn" as the plot develops and that this movie is "just the beginning for the character." About her casting, Joe Russo said, "We wanted someone that Cap would have an immediate interest in. It had to be a strong-willed person, and we felt that Emily’s work on Revenge was a great test tube for what this character could be. She’s obviously very credible with physicality, she holds the screen really well, and she even looks like the character from the books."

Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter:

A retired officer with the Strategic Scientific Reserve and former love interest of Captain America.

Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce:

A senior leader within S.H.I.E.L.D., a member of the World Security Council and an old comrade of Nick Fury. Redford was cast in part as a homage to his roles in 1970s thrillers such as Three Days of the Condor. As to what attracted him to the film, Redford said, “I wanted to experience this new form of filmmaking that’s taken over where you have kind of cartoon characters brought to life through high technology.”

Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury:

The director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Regarding Fury's questionable code of ethics, Jackson said, "Almost everything that comes out of Nick Fury’s mouth is a lie in some sense. He has to ask, is he even lying to himself, too? He has a very good idea of what’s going on but his paranoia keeps him from believing some of it." Jackson added, "You see Nick Fury the office guy, him going about the day-to-day work of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the politics as opposed to that other stuff. It's great to have him dealing with Captain America in terms of being able to speak to him soldier to soldier and try to explain to him how the world has changed in another way while he was frozen in time. Some of the people who used to be our enemies are now our allies — him trying to figure out, 'Well, how do we trust those guys?' or 'How do we trust the guys that you didn't trust who don't trust you?' And explaining to him that the black and white of good guys/bad guys has now turned into this gray area."

Georges St-Pierre as Georges Batroc:

A mercenary and a master of the French form of kickboxing known as savate. St-Pierre, a UFC welterweight champion, elaborated, "My character is a French mercenary, speaks French, a martial arts expert of savate, [and an] Olympic lifting champion. [He is] a little bit like a guy who can jump really high and stuff... he's called a leaper. The character fit me well."

Additionally, Toby Jones, Maximiliano Hernández, Dominic Cooper and Garry Shandling reprise their roles from previous MCU films as Arnim Zola, Jasper Sitwell, Howard Stark and Senator Stern, respectively. Chin Han, Jenny Agutter (who previously appeared in The Avengers as a member of the World Security Council), Alan Dale and Bernard White have been cast as members of Pierce's S.H.I.E.L.D. team. Callan Mulvey was cast in an unspecified supporting role in the film. Stan Lee will make a cameo appearance.

Philomena International TRAILER (2013) - Mare Winningham, Steve Coogan Drama HD

Philomena is a 2013 British comedy-drama film directed by Stephen Frears. It was screened in the main competition section at the 70th Venice International Film Festival where Steve Coogan and Jeff Pope won the award for Best Screenplay. At the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival it was awarded the People's Choice Award Runner-Up prize. The film was nominated for four Academy Awards, including for Best Picture, and Judi Dench (who plays Philomena) for Best Actress, and was also nominated for four BAFTA Awards and three Golden Globes.

The film is based on the book The Lost Child of Philomena Lee by Martin Sixsmith, which tells the true story of Philomena Lee's 50-year-long search for her son. The book focuses more, as the title suggests, on the life Michael/Anthony had after his adoption.

Plot
Journalist Martin Sixsmith has just lost his job as a Labour government adviser, and isn't sure whether to take up running or write a book about Russian history. Meanwhile, Philomena Lee confides to her daughter that, fifty years earlier, she had given birth to a son in Ireland, but because she was not married she had been forced to give him up for adoption. Soon after, Martin meets the daughter at a party. Although he initially scorns human interest stories, he needs work and an editor wants the story. He meets Philomena, and they start to investigate what had become of her son.

Philomena had given birth to her son Anthony at the convent in Roscrea, was forced to sign away parental rights to her son – but still cared for him until he was adopted at age three – and worked as an indentured laundry lady. Her best friend at the convent had a daughter, Mary; the children were best friends as well. A couple had come to the convent to adopt Mary, and had taken away both children because they were inseparable.

Martin and Philomena begin their search for her son at the convent. The nuns are polite and welcoming, but they have no information. The adoption records had been lost in a fire years earlier, they said. Drowning his frustration at a pub, Martin meets a young man who tells him rumours he had heard from the old-timers: the convent deliberately destroyed the records in a bonfire, and that they had sold the children to adoptive parents, mostly in the United States (including Jane Russell).

As a journalist and political adviser, one of Martin's specialities is the US, where he has worked and has numerous contacts. Although enquiries reach a dead end in Ireland, Martin's contacts in the US might be able to help. Searching passport and other records, Martin finds that Philomena's son had been adopted by Doc and Marge Hess, who renamed him Michael Hess. He grew up to be a lawyer and high-ranking official in the Reagan and George H.W. Bush administrations. He was also gay, and closeted living with his partner, Peter Olson. He had died nine years earlier, of AIDS.

Martin reluctantly informs Philomena of his findings – but they press on, to find people who had known him. From old photographs, Martin realises he had actually met Anthony/Michael briefly when Martin was working for the BBC. They visit Michael's co-adoptee Mary, who tells them that their adoptive mother had been loving, but their father and brothers had not shown love for Michael. Mary gives them the name of Michael's most serious boyfriend, but doesn't tell them what Philomena most wanted to know: whether he had ever tried to find his birth mother.

After avoiding Martin's attempts to contact him, Michael's former partner finally agrees to talk to Philomena. He says that Michael had always wondered about his birth mother, and had visited the convent in Ireland to find out more about her – but the nuns lied and told him that they had lost contact with her. He says that Michael's dying wish was to be buried in the convent's graveyard, and that he (Peter Olson) had managed to arrange this, in hopes that his mother might eventually find the message on his gravestone.

The story ends where it begins: at the convent. Martin angrily confronts a nun who had been around when Philomena's son had been taken from her. The nun is unrepentant, saying that losing her son was Philomena's penance for the sin of fornication. Philomena, on the other hand, forgives the nun, though she later tells Michael it was difficult to do so. (Earlier in the film, Philomena has been shown to have residual feelings of guilt over the liaison which led to Anthony's birth; her reaction to Sister Hildegarde implies that she is now completely clear that it is not she, but the nuns, who did wrong and need forgiveness.) Philomena then locates her son Anthony/Michael's grave and reads the stone. Martin says he will not publish the story as it is private to Philomena, but Philomena tells him to go ahead because "people should know what happened here".

Pompeii Official Trailer #1 (2014) - Kit Harington, Paul W.S. Anderson Movie HD

It's late summer in 79 A.D. and the city of Pompeii glitters at the foot of the mighty Mt. Vesuvius. MILO, the slave of a shipping tycoon, dreams of the day he will buy his freedom and marry his master's daughter, COLUMBA. What he doesn't know is that Columba's debt-ridden father has promised Columba to a despicable Roman Senator to pay off an overdue loan.

Milo does know that his friend, the Gladiator NIGELLUS, is being forced to compete the next day in a seemingly unwinnable battle in the Coliseum. As Milo tries to find a way to save his friend, he learns that Columba has been promised to another man and that he himself has been sold to a new master. Just as it seems things can't get any worse, Mt. Vesuvius suddenly explodes with the power of 40 nuclear bombs, sending a torrent of 1,000-degree ash and smoke into the city. Lava flows down the mountainside, killing thousands. As Pompeii crumbles, Nigellus is imprisoned inside the Coliseum, Columba is locked inside her family's villa, and Milo is trapped aboard a ship bound for Naples.

As the people of Pompeii flee the obliterated city, Milo is determined to return to it to save his friend and his beloved Columba. With fire and ash destroying the only world he's ever known, an ordinary man is tested to his breaking point in this heart-pounding tale of extraordinary heroism.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Official Trailers (2014) - Andrew Garfield Movie HD

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (known as The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro in some countries) is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, directed by Marc Webb and released by Columbia Pictures. It serves as a sequel to the 2012 film The Amazing Spider-Man and was announced in 2011. The studio hired James Vanderbilt to write the screenplay and Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci to re-write it. Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti and Sally Field are set to star.

Development of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 began after the success of The Amazing Spider-Man. DeHaan, Giamatti, Jones, and Cooper were cast between December 2012 and February 2013. Filming took place in New York from February to June 2013. The film is scheduled to be released in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on May 2, 2014.

Premise
Peter Parker continues to struggle with balancing his life as a high school student, and his responsibilities as Spider-Man. When Peter begins to investigate more about his father's past, thanks to the help of his friend Harry Osborn, he begins to realize that the new threats of Electro and the Rhino all have one thing in common: OsCorp.
Cast

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker / Spider-Man: An orphaned teenage boy who received amazing spider-powers after being bitten by a genetically altered spider. Peter first uses his powers to hunt down the killer of his uncle in The Amazing Spider-Man but soon decides to use his powers to fight crime as the vigilante known as Spider-Man. Garfield explained that the suit that he will wear in the film will be undergoing a new design. Garfield hopes to bring back the theme of him being an orphan stating, "I wanna keep exploring that theme of being fatherless, being motherless, searching for purpose and finding a purpose within himself". He felt that it was a responsibility to take on the role and that he does not take it lightly.

Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy: A high school student and Peter's love interest. When asked about Peter and Gwen's relationship in the sequel, Stone said, "She saves him more than he saves her. She's incredibly helpful to Spider-Man... He's the muscle, she's the brains."

Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon / Electro: An electrical engineer who works for Oscorp Industries. Foxx described the character as "a nobody" who initially idolizes Spider-Man. He develops an obsession with Spider-Man after being saved by him and obtains his powers through an accident at Oscorp involving electric eels.

Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn: An old friend of Peter and son of Norman Osborn. He was sent away to boarding school around the same time Peter's parents disappeared, and meets him for the first time since then in the film. With the release of the film's first teaser poster and trailer, DeHaan also appeared to be featured as the Green Goblin.

Campbell Scott as Richard Parker

Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker

Colm Feore as Donald Menken

Paul Giamatti as Aleksei Sytsevich / The Rhino: Giamatti explained that his character has a particular kind of suit. "He’s a Russian mobster. Russians are always good villains. I have an ability to just destroy things,” he said. "My accent is pretty hammy. I loved doing it. It seemed to me like an opportunity to be as over-the-top hammy as possible. It was really fun.". It was revealed in a poster that the film's version of Rhino wouldn't be wearing a costume but a robotic suit designed to look like a rhino, which bears resemblance to the Ultimate Marvel version of the character.

Sally Field as May Parker: Peter's aunt.

Chris Cooper was cast as Norman Osborn, the president of Oscorp and Harry Osborn's father, while Marton Csokas portrays Dr. Kafka, the head of Ravencroft Institute. Martin Sheen, Chris Zylka, and Denis Leary reprise their roles as Ben Parker, Flash Thompson and Captain George Stacy, respectively, from the first film. Felicity Jones, and B. J. Novak have been cast in unspecified roles. According to Jones, and later clarified by Marc Webb, her character is in a "special relationship" with Norman Osborn and has a costume. Novak stated in December 2013 that his character is from the comics, and works at OsCorp, adding that he is in a few scenes and "not an extra." Sarah Gadon has been cast as an artificial intelligence officer. Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee will have a cameo appearance.

Nymphomaniac: Volume II Official International Trailer #1 (2014) - Lars von Trier Movie HD

Nymphomaniac (also stylized as NYMPH()MANIAC) is a 2013 two-part drama film written and directed by Lars von Trier. Starring Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgård, Stacy Martin, Martin Solibakke, Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Christian Slater and Connie Nielsen, a cut version of the film was released on December 25, 2013 in Denmark and in the US is set to be released in two parts on March 21, 2014 and April 18, 2014.

The world premiere of the first part of the 5 and a half hour long uncut version is scheduled to be in February 2014 at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival.

Premise and plot

Nymphomaniac is a wild, poetic drama about a woman's erotic journey from birth to the age of 50 as told by the main character, the self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg). On a cold winter's evening the old, charming bachelor Seligman (Stellan Skarsgård) finds Joe beaten up in an alleyway. He brings her home to his flat where he tends to her wounds while asking her about her life. He listens intently as Joe, over the next eight chapters, recounts the lusty story of her highly erotic life. Seligman reads a lot of books, from which he has acquired various general knowledge. He connects the stories told with what he has read about.
The story is divided in 2 volumes and 8 chapters, Volume I follows Young Joe as portrayed by Stacy Martin, while the older Joe in Seligman's apartment is played by Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Volume II follows Joe as portrayed by Charlotte Gainsbourg.

Volume I
"The Compleat Angler"
"Jerôme"
"Mrs. H"
"Delirium"
"The Little Organ School"

Volume II
"The Eastern and the Western Church (The Silent Duck)"
"The Mirror"
"The Gun"

Some plot elements:
Joe and her best friend B ride a train, competing on being the first to have sex in the train with another passenger, usually in the toilet. They offer a man who paid their ticket to have sex with him. He declines, being on his way to his wife, since it is a favorable day with respect to her fertility. Joe gives him a blowjob anyway (in his seat), and the man cannot resist the temptation.
As a girl Joe asks Jerôme: "If I asked you to take my virginity, would that be a problem?", and he answers that it is not a problem. The sex is quick and not very satisfying for Joe.

Joe applies for a job as secretary, although she has hardly any of the required skills. Jerôme happens to be interim manager, and hires her. He wants sex with her in the elevator, but she refuses. When the regular manager returns she is fired.
When one of Joe's many sex partners stays too long she tells him that she wants to break up with him because he does not break up with his wife, Mrs. H. He leaves, breaks up with Mrs. H, and returns with his things, to move in with her. Mrs. H and three young sons arrive, and let Joe and the man know how much misery they have caused. Meanwhile another sex partner of Joe arrives, making the situation even more awkward.

Chaotic situations occur when Joe's father is dying in the hospital. In between Joe has sex with people in the hospital.
Joe and Jerôme have a relationship, and get a son. Joe wants more sex than Jerôme can handle, therefore he requests her to have also sex with other men.

Joe regularly visits young man K, in a setting like that of a doctor, with a waiting room with other female clients/patients, to be tied up nakedly and whipped. She leaves her young son unattended, after which Jerôme breaks up with her, taking their son with him.
Joe hires an interpreter to invite a black foreigner in the street to have sex with her. He agrees and comes to a hotel room, but is unexpectedly accompanied by a friend. The three have sex together, during which the two men quarrel with each other, and treat her as an object.

Joe becomes debt collector: together with some assistants she puts pressure on men to pay up (either money really owed, or as a form of extortion), using her insight into the psychological and sexual weak spots of men, in cases where violence and destruction of property does not work. At her mentor's advice she grooms the girl P with criminal parents, preparing her to be her successor. P joins the debt collection team. One day she brings along a gun, but Joe does not agree with that and takes it from her, and keeps it. Joe and P, now an adult, become friends and have sex with each other.

One day the debt collection target is Jerôme. Joe does not come along, she instructs P to avoid violence and allow him a reasonable payment scheme. When Jerôme and P get too friendly with each other, Joe gets jealous and attempts to kill Jerôme with the gun, but fails: the gun is loaded, but she forgets to rack it. Jerôme beats her up. This is where Seligman finds her.
Seligman confesses to be asexual. However, he tries to rape Joe in her sleep, assuming she, as a nymphomaniac, would not mind. However, she wakes up and kills him with the gun.
