A Million Ways to Die in the West is an upcoming 2014 American western comedy film produced and directed by Seth MacFarlane and written by MacFarlane, Alec Sulkin, and Wellesley Wild. The film will star MacFarlane himself along with Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Giovanni Ribisi, Sarah Silverman and Neil Patrick Harris. It will be produced by Media Rights Capital and distributed by Universal Pictures. The film is scheduled to be released on May 30, 2014.


Plot
Set in Arizona 1882, Albert (Seth MacFarlane) is a sheep farmer who lacks courage, loses his beloved girlfriend (Amanda Seyfried) as a result of his withdrawal from a duel. He soon meets another lady (Charlize Theron), and discovers his bravery and confidence. The herder soon realizes his true potential when the lady's spouse (Liam Neeson), an infamous criminal, demands payback.
